Fewigu is a budgeting app built around one fact: your income does not arrive on the same day or in the same amount every month. Below is every service we offer, with the price you pay. No tiers, no bundles you have to decode.
We have run this since 2012. Six of us work on it from Sheffield, and we reply to most requests within 3 hours on working days.
All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where it applies. Each one is a single payment for the service named, not a subscription.
We go through your last 12 months of payments and map when money actually arrives. You get a plain summary of your lowest, typical and highest months, which becomes the base for every other setting in the app.
We build a budget on your lowest realistic month, not your average. Rent, bills and food come first. Anything above the baseline is routed to savings, tax or spending according to rules you choose.
Every fixed outgoing is placed on a calendar with its due date. The app warns you several days ahead if the money set aside is not yet enough, so a quiet fortnight does not turn into a missed payment.
If you are self-employed, a share of each payment can be parked automatically for your tax bill. We help you pick a sensible percentage and show the running total. This is a budgeting tool, not tax advice.
We set a target buffer, usually one to three months of baseline costs, and a way to reach it. Each good month tops it up first. You see the progress as a number of weeks covered, not an abstract percentage.
We connect your transaction history to the app using a read-only file import, so categories fill in without typing. We check the first month by hand and correct any entries the app has sorted wrongly.
Based on your past patterns, the app projects the next three months and flags the ones likely to fall short. You get that warning early enough to move work, trim costs or draw on your buffer.
A 45-minute call with one of our team, held Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 19:00. We open your own data, go through each screen and answer questions. Many clients book this once and need nothing more.
Add a partner or family member who has steady pay. The app shows both incomes side by side, divides shared costs by a ratio you pick, and keeps your personal spending separate if you prefer.
No. The whole setup is designed around uneven months. Send us whatever payment history you have, even if it is patchy, and we work from that.
Most people begin with the income pattern review and the baseline budget setup. Together they cost £80 and give you a working budget. Add the others later if you find you need them.
No. Imports are read-only and nothing in the app can send or withdraw funds. It records, calculates and reminds. All payments stay in your own banking app.
Typically within 3 hours on working days. Messages sent on a Saturday or Sunday are answered on Monday, since the office is closed at weekends.
Yes. Write to us through the contact page and describe your situation. We will tell you which services fit and which you can skip. You can also read more about us first.
Tell us how your income usually looks, such as freelance invoices, shift work or seasonal pay, and we will suggest the smallest set of services that covers it.
